Starling endemic to the island of Bali

Bali starling endemic to the island of Bali and one of the beautiful and rare birds in the world. Its beauty has led to its decline being poached for the bird trade. The IUCN estimate a maximum of wild Bali Starling in the world. FNPF, an NGO manages the species in Nusa Pendida. I have been volunteering with them for the last four year. We have been met with great success expanding the species distribution and increasing the population.
