Today is Galungan, for the next 10 days, the ancestor spirits come to visit. Offerings & prayers are made, the most visible are the elaborately decorated penjors that stand in front of every Balinese house.
It is a beautiful time to be in Bali, make sure you take yourself out for a walk & explore the streets to see all the different types of penjor.
