Happy wrists = happy practice.
How often do you warm up your wrists before you flow?
Whenever our hands are the base of our pose (plank, downward dog,…) our wrists have to carry way more weight than what they are used to.
Therefore it is important to warm up the wrist and strengthen the muscles in the forearms before we practice.
Include wristrolls to increase the range of motion of the joint. Flickering the fingers or tapping the mat with your hands will strengthen the forearms.
Whenever your wrists are in a weightbearing position make sure to activate your hands by clawing the mat.
Enjoy your practice today!
