Have you tried jackfruit before? In Indonesia we call it Nangka. Here we cook it into a curry, it serves the the purpose of a vegetable; we also eat the sweet fruit from inside its hard spiky shell. The fruit can be used to make a kind of sweet snack called Es Campur when mixed with flavored jelly, pandan syrup, basil seeds that have been soaked in hot water, numerous fruit such as avocado, durian, jackfruit, condensed milk and shaved ice.
