You guys should go to Yogyakarta and Candi Borobudur, where u can see the great remnants of the Majapahit Empire. Also in Jakarta, there r still remnants of the Sriwijaya Empire in Taman Mini. Lombok and Bangka Belitung are really great attractions as well, with many beautiful beaches there. U can also visit Mount Bromo/Gunung Bromo in between Malang and Surabaya, but u should go early in the morning to witness the beautiful sunrise. Anyways, enjoy ur trips! 🙂
