Hi, Kraig. Planning some vacation time with possible backpacking, it occurs to me to ask how you transport your gear on flights to all the far-flung locations you visit. Do you put a fully packed backpack in a laundry bag or duffle for protection and check it on the plane? Or are you possibly able to carry all your gear onboard with you? Or does Epic transport you on their corporate jet? 😚

I was supposed to explore Bali for 2 months. After 3 weeks, I was sooo DONE. I didn’t learn to surf in Canggu. I didn’t trek to any waterfall. I didn’t rent a motorbike even though I had prepared and got an international permit just for Bali. [BTW, no footage on your ticket?] But, I really enjoyed spending time with the locals at the temple during Galungan in Sidemen, visiting Lempuyang Temple (the climb to the top was anticlimactic), watching sunsets at Amed, playing footfall with kids and talking with a beach bum with a ukulele in Padangbai, and exploring Nusa Penida. I didn’t make it to Tegalalang Rice Terrace. I guess I’m glad I didn’t make it to Tanah Lot. I agree with you, “No, no, no, no, no!” I love the clips of your alone time. I love Bali’s natural beauty. This video brings back some good memories. Thanks!

Went to Bali for the first time in Sept to try spearfishing for the first time. That was a blast. Food was really unimpressive though. We also went to Bridges restaurant when in Ubud.

Enjoyed hearing your reflections on the podcast last month and on IG today about travel and vlogging. Still haven’t edited my footage; almost didn’t watch this bc I didn’t want it to influence how I ended up editing mine. Oh well.
