Temples in the jungle
If you love taking in ancient architecture or learning about local cultures and tradition, Ubud is somewhere that you should definitely plan a trip to! There are over 20,000 temples in Bali and many of them are in Ubud.
This is Pura Tirta Empul, one of the water temples known for its blessings from bathing in the sacred water. You can enter the water to take part in the blessings too.
There are flowers, incense and prayers all around you. Despite the crowds, you can’t help but feel at peace here.
