If you can find a way, just do it, don’t think twice. We have traveled to Bali 4 times and are heading back again. We can only get a 30 day visa. We haven’t even seen everything yet. I agree its the locals that you feel so connected to. Uluwatu has the best fire dance, a must see. We get asked allot why do we keep going back, we just say “why not” Best country to stay and visit and affordable. Love Bali and the Gili’s, you only live once… good for you

Yes please stay there for 6 months would love to watch all your vlogs on Indonesia! Was there first time in Bali last August loved it so much and made some local friends ! Will be back hopefully next year as my 12yr old daughter won’t let me go this year because of earthquakes we experienced! Love the Indonesian people so friendly! 💕🙏

Wow 6 months in Indonesia. Yes, you can travel to so many other islands. 1 month in Sumatra, 2 months in Java ( Jakarta, Bandung, Bogor, Jogjakarta, Solo, Semarang, Malang, Mt Bromo ), 1 month in Gili islands, Nusa Penida, Komodo, Flores, 1 month in Borneo, 2 weeks in Sulawesi and 2 weeks in Irian Jaya. So many exciting places to visit there.

Guys i’m afraid you can’t go to comodo island if you wanna see the comodo dragon because the government is planning to close it down for a year, rehabilitation reason since the deer population ( which is the comodo’s food ) in the island is reducing due to illegal hunting, but you can go to surrounding islands tho, six month yas pls do!! Lol

Definitely 6 months in Bali!! But how do you get a 6 month visa? What kind is it? I’m planning on doing the same thing but didn’t know that was possible… Nervous about going alone be also excited. Single older woman traveling alone and I’ve never been to Indonesia before. Still trying to figure out where to stay and when to go! Thinking around July/August.

Different people are connected to different places/country. Like the youtubers Beers For Breakfast happy place is Malaysia, and they end up staying and travelling in Malaysia for 7 months, you guys can check them out on utube, but if Indonesia is the place that makes you guys happy, I say why not explore it for 6 months, Indonesia is a big country, many places to explore and see, life is short do what makes you guys happy, follow your guts, good luck. And I am a new sub.
