This is beautiful. Been occasionally interested in music of Indonesia for years now but had never appreciated how amazing the dancing can be.

Amongst Balinese arts, the musics is the one I like the most. Regarding the dancer, I heard that he is one member of Puri family. Nepotism?
Gamelan Yuganada
Why don’t you both try to dance baris, and play gamelan?
let see…..

I somewhat agree with justlevin. I have learned the Baris dance myself. It looks like this boy does not have enough control over his movements, and is too… wobbly. The Baris dance is supposed to embody strength, power, ferocity, fire, grace, and agility. It represents a noble warrior on the battle field; usually the dancer appears rigid, powerful, in control, and strong. There is a part in the story where he falls into a swoon, exhausted from battle. But he soon recovers from that.
