Our troupe embraced many different nationalities. Our best dancer is Scandinavian. She is a sweet and kind woman, whose isolations were perfection.

My first encounter with belly dancing was when I visited Dubai! I was truly mesmerized and impressed by this art form! There was a blonde woman dancing and she was amazing! And also check out Irina Akulenko she is a Goddess!

I personally wouldn’t know how to feel if someone took my cultural heritage through dance and said it’s not about where it is from… I mean isn’t it a cultural middle eastern dance? No disrespect to you and what you’ve achieved through it but I think we should really call things as they are.
