Baragung is a social enterprise that helps to fund educational programs focused on cultural regeneration for youth. The methodology of this program uses batik as its educational medium to yield an understanding of cultural values taught through batiks visual representations and creative process which are rooted in Indonesian cultural heritage.
Their goal is to create a space for growth and understanding without sacrificing the cultural knowledge of this ancient technique, while expressing it within a contemporary framework.
