Crystal Bay is located on the west side of Nusa Penida. This bay is a popular tourist destination. This beach is sprinkled by lonely palm trees. One can rent umbrellas, chairs, snorkeling equipment, and soft drinks. Outside the bay there are large rocks, even small islands, which can be used as reference points, especially under water. Snorkeling here is considered the best on the island because of the clarity of water with eels, Napoleon fish, parrot fish, seasonal turtles, and brilliant coral. During the summer months Mola Mola is often seen here even though they can also be seen during the rainy season. All of this is easily accessible from the beach, but must be careful if the current or waves are strong.
