I went to Bali for the first time
This year. I stayed in two Padma resorts the same one you stayed at in Legian and the brand new one in Ubud. They were both lovely amazing food staff and facilities. I love the
People in Bali and I hope to go back one day to experience Seminyak. It just sucked that I got Bali belly bad and felt nauseous and had indigestion any time I ate or drank anything. Then the last day there I was so sick stomach was killing and I threw up in the room it was really bad and I had to go to a terrible doctor in her home in Ubud at 2am! She said it was food allergies. I spent my final day sleeping and trying to get as better as possible
For the flight home. My partner and I missed out on our final activity of the dolphin interaction so that sucks but we hope To do that in Thailand in the next year or two. When I got back to Melb I was still very sick for one to two weeks until my stomach adjusted back to Aussie food. But it hasn’t put me off going again you only live once! I felt so embarrassed and sorry for the cleaner that had to clean the bathtub in my room because it was full of my stomach contents when I vomited. Bali belly really isn’t fun and did ruin the holiday for
Me so I hope when I go there again
I won’t get it again. I’ve heard some people get it every time they go there!
