This giant statue thats been years in the making at Balis Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) Cultural Park is set for its long overdue completion in August 2018 designed by the famous sculptor, Nyoman Nuarta.
The statue, rising up 121 meters from the hilly Bukit Peninsula has been specially constructed and designed to be the Indonesias tallest statue. The completed monument will be about as tall as a 21story building and will weight 4,000 tons, thus, making the heaviest statue in the country.
