Very interesting! The place looks really beautiful, but I dislike all the double standards the seem to be going on there. Different prices, yes you can have it / no you can’t. That’s frustrating. Nice that you made some friends while you were there! And having to put on your own sun screen is a really bummer! These places really erk me with all their rubbish charges…if someone is going to be paying $100 or more for somewhere to sit, why they hell do they have to pay to get in the door to get to that seat? π
I guess they are built and operated for a different type of person than me ππ€£ No denying it looks like a cool place, awesome design, but yeah we wont be rushing there to hand over silly amounts of money for junk service thanks to you guys π

I wasn’t allowed to bring my DSLR into Giant Stadium (American Football) and the security guard said we couldn’t in case I got pissed and through or hist someone with the camera. I was like…it’s a $6000 camera, I’m not throwing it. He stood by his reason and wouldn’t let me in with it.

This reminds me of my time at Potato Head Beach Club in Seminyak! I also didn’t opt for the “premium experience” when I was there, but I’m sad to hear about the bad service :/ not cool! And I agree, the bigger the group, the better it is to book one of the beds etc. just more convenient

Wow, that’s weird they had all those rules for equipment. I can understand not wanting things like big tripods in there (that could take up room and be a fire hazard) but a little gimbal or something you hold in your hand, I can’t understand why they wouldn’t want that in there? I mean, surely that’s going to ensure people getting better shots and promote their club more? Weird.
There’s so many awesome beach clubs in Bali – but yeah they are so expensive and unfortunately this one isn’t the only one where I’ve heard people have experienced drama. I’d rather just go to the beach tbh. π

This reminds me of my time at Potato Head Beach Club in Seminyak! I also didn’t opt for the “premium experience” when I was there, but I’m sad to hear about the bad service :/ not cool! And I agree, the bigger the group, the better it is to book one of the beds etc. just more convenient

Wow, that’s weird they had all those rules for equipment. I can understand not wanting things like big tripods in there (that could take up room and be a fire hazard) but a little gimbal or something you hold in your hand, I can’t understand why they wouldn’t want that in there? I mean, surely that’s going to ensure people getting better shots and promote their club more? Weird.
There’s so many awesome beach clubs in Bali – but yeah they are so expensive and unfortunately this one isn’t the only one where I’ve heard people have experienced drama. I’d rather just go to the beach tbh. π

I guess we won’t be going unless we get a baby sitter. No kids hey. Anyway, I probably wouldn’t go here anyway. I don’t know about you guys, but I go to Bali because it’s an affordable place to visit. I’m not going to drop 300k just on an entry fee to a pool and bar. Yes the views are nice but there are plenty of spots in southern Bali where you can see views just as good as this without the price tag.
