Tegenungan Waterfall

Water you up to?
Me Oh nothing, just chilling by nature’s waterslide.

After taking some down time in order for Alex to recover from food poisoning, we’re back in the game with a full day of exploration of the Gianyar region of Bali.

We started here at Tegenungan Waterfall, the largest waterfall in this region. It’s been super commercialized now with mansized bird’s nests and giant wings for photo taking . It also has a swing where a guy is pushing you while a photographer takes your picture .

The waterfall is definitely pretty and perfect for swimming . Especially on days like today where it was 39 degrees with the humidex. You probably can’t tell in the picture but I was covered in sweat when this was taken. And it was only our first stop!

Many pictures to share from today but I’ll save it for later! Tomorrow, we’ll be exploring the northern region of Bali!
