As I was leaving the Northern part of Bali I visited the Tirta Gangga, a former royal palace named after the sacred river Ganges in Hinduism, The water palace of Tirta Gangga was built in 1948 by King Anak Agung Anglurah Ketut Karangasem, This palace is a beautiful water garden and it is located near a natural spring.
This spring wells up under a huge banyan tree that stands at the foot of a hill. This water has always been regarded as holy and is regularly used for religious temple ceremonies.
