A long and wet day trip to Sekumpul Falls. After an eternal scooter ride from Ubud, we arrived and hiked down to the falls. Within 20 minutes a serious rainstorm developed, and the water turned brown with sediment as the falls flash-flooded. We tried to wait out the storm since we didnt want to ride three hours back to our hostel in the rain. We bought some snacks from a local vendor near the falls and met Mijel from Israel, who joined us for the rest of the day. The rain finally let up and we made a stop at the Ulun Danu Beratan temple on the way back to Ubud.
