We love wellness coach Pamela of Ginger and Yoga. She recently shared a few of her Ayurvedic tips that can help you maintain a healthy and balanced lifestyle: 1. Drink warm water with ajwain, also called carom seeds. You can find them in most oriental stores in small bags. These seeds are incredibly powerful, as they are full of vitamins, minerals, fiber and antioxidants. Add just one teaspoon to a bottle of warm water and drink it throughout the day. You’ll see any bloating will disappear soon enough if you keep drinking it.

2. Take ashwagandha (lat. Withania somnifera) in capsules with lunch or dinner. This beautiful plant is great to take in Winter as it will strengthen your immune system and prevent you from having colds or the flu. It is adaptogenic, meaning it tones your nervous system, stress levels and thus your hormones by reducing cortisol. It is also great to reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety. (*Not to be taken in case of pregnancy)
