Behind the clouds is Mt Agung, home of the gods.

Behind the clouds is Mt Agung, home of the gods. Its where clouds are formed, up there in the highlands. The past couple days the sky has been achingly blue, the sun scorching, until later in the afternoon when the breeze picked up, the clouds grew out of the mountains, and distant thunder rumbled. Dozens of kites high aloft.
Ive started walking dogs a couple afternoons per week, while work is a bit quieter, for an animal rescue here. Ive needed to walk with dogs as much as these sweet pups need to go out each day, and you can tell by my sweaty face in the last two pictures.
These rice fields, though, are the same ones as in a picture I posted last week. You can see theyve been inundated now, and soon to be planted. Our walks through the rice fields will become more precarious!
Its dark now and as I post this, those gathering clouds from three hours ago have finally burst and were in the middle of a glorious downpour. The sweet of nature is love – Ralph Waldo Emerson
