About a year ago, I left everything in Germany behind to go on a one-year travel. In the months before, my whole life in Berlin was collapsed. My longterm boyfriend left me, the book project I worked on for 1 year was cancelled last minute and I also lost my job.
I had nothing left. But I had also nothing left to lose.
So I decided that it was time to fulfil my dream of traveling to Bali, before I was about to start a new job in New Zealand.
