This is not true . Bali used to be a good place to relax. But now consumerism has plagued the whole south west section of the island. The Chinese developers are building at an unprecedented pace and the locals are now not allowed to carry on Hindu rituals which are a big part of the presence of old Bali. Your getting ripped off now by the overwhelming population that has recently begun rising due to the monetary aspect of business coming to Bali. Its not fun and its not cool. I’d honestly rather sit in Singapore with a honest educated group of people. Bali has beaches but your not allowed to enjoy them because locals are programmed to hawk your bank account and direct you to buy a family member for bad sex. Alas the water is overwhelmingly polluted with plastic and sewage run off from the rest of the island. I wont give Bali a thumbs up. Two thumbs down for a review.

Around Bali, if you want to get more hippie vibe with pretty beaches and volcano hiking (Rinjani), then head to Lombok as well. If you want the experience of staying on boat for 1 or 2 or even more days on boat like a pirate and do island hopping seeking the komodo dragon, then head to Komodo National Park in Flores island. Its only 1 hour fly away from Bali. Well, Flores island as a whole is as well awesome. Do Flores island and Sumba island (not Sumbawa) will be even more awesome. Sumba island has some of most beautiful green/blue turqoise colored-waterfalls in the Indonesia, complete with empty white sand beaches and exotic tribe culture. Not to mention the landscape are totally different from Bali, Sumba island covered with Savannah. But i would say some of prettiests beaches in Indonesia would be those in Raja Ampat and in Kei islands (Maluku). Those areas are hardly known for tourists, which makes islands and beaches are almost all empty.

Your section on Gili T or gili trawangan is misleading. Gili Trawangan is not in Bali. Gili trawangan is in Lombok. And Lombok actually is another island and district actually. Gili trawangan should be in a separate video. I have been to those 3 islands i.e bali, lombok and gili trawangan. Lombok is a beautiful place although not as developed as bali. The place still has the 70’s and hippie looks.
