Not sure if exchange rates changed. But checking the math (2:14) $18.50 US Dollars = 268,190.80 IDR (Indonesian Rupiah). Think you accidentally moved the decimal. All good…was just trying to do the math myself. The 1st place is really nice. You say it’s 270 Million IDR (that would be approx. $18,596 USD / Year) or appox. $1,549.00 per/month USD. I think I saw the first place listed on ‘Bali Long Term Rentals’ for a little less 250 Million (IDR). So, not exactly cheap….

I don’t think you are picky at all. It takes me and my wife like 30 apartments before making a decision. Why don’t you look at buying? At first I was thinking this was 15,000/mo instead of yearly. I could see that an awesome house like that for 15k/ mo. I live in Denver Co, so for a studio, we pay 16,000/yr…. a studio… you are getting into a house. be as picky as you want buddy, its your money, you earned it!

I had four days in Canggu the place did not do it for me horrible black sand beaches, I liked the cafe etc but I could not wait to escape I much prefer Ubud in Bali its a much better place then Canggu.
