Brett I love your content and even recommended you to the NY ad agency I’m interning for. You are one of the reasons I’m making videos about my internship (from the Netherlands, now in NYC).

I love the Bali videos, however, please don’t promote destructive tourist attractions. Monkey forest is not the problem, they are treated well with plenty of space. But I don’t know about the elephants though. Maybe in this case it’s ok but they are treated very badly in many parts of Indonesia.

Please inform your audience so they know how to treat this amazing island!

the disease that is tourism is so apparent on bali .. so sad for the balinese .. the money is made by javanese, the balinese are just the workers, and to have three million people a year come traipsing through your living room ,where really can you live? cost of everything distorted by tourism, lifestyle consumers who stay as long as they can get visas, so depressing, if you ever saw bali decades ago

Have you heard of that woman who was hanging out with her friends, just joking around, acting silly, and she jumped into a pool, but it was the shallow end, she cracked her head on the bottom, that breaks her neck, and now she’s paralyzed?

When you jumped way high up into the pool, and hit your ass on the bottom when you didn’t think you would, that just reminded me of that. Just saying, accidents can happen when you don’t expect them to. Stay safe.
