OMG trust me if you think your surfing is armature, I’ve lived in Bali my whole life and have only surfed a few times. And when I do it is cringe worthy, but for the times I have surfed my personal favorite place is Batu Balong (same beach you went), I think its my fav because the waves are really good for beginners but not so small that they make you feel pathetic.
