I believe as long as your gullible followers keep funding you expensive lifestyle you’ll keep pumping out videos. $2.5k is what you pay in the west for a tiny apartment yes I get it but, you make that money fast too, now, how the hell are you going to be able to afford that if you didn’t have over 1m subs? Keep going this way and you’ll lose your core subs.
youtubers are the biggest narcissistic personalities out there, all they care about is me me me me, and as soon as they can afford something more expensive, they normalize it and set the goalpost higher, they do this till they are no longer relatable to most of their audience, it just slowly turns into uhh, look-at-how-good-I-have-it type of thing.
It doesn’t get any cheaper than Thailand, all what you’ve shown so far just proves Bali is expensive or maybe you just don’t know your way around cos you told us the other couple stayed in a decent $300/month apartment with a even it’s own pool, you on the other hand had to go for the $2.5k one smh.

Just a little info. You can NOT buy a property in Bali. Why? Because westerner not allowed to buy any property. You can only do long lease (long term rental)..lots of Westerner do that. If you want to buy it, it has to be with Indonesian name on the certificate..
So when you hear a westerner said ‘my villa’ it’s not theirs..they just rent for 1, 2,5,20, or maybe 30yrs..
Still it called ‘renting’

I am in Katyโs home now within that in Cusco an from what I have seen so far I already know I looove this place! I woke up this morning had a dream, honestly in my dream I walked in to the lost villa… ๐ it is getting to my head too much but one thing I know Christian I woke up in Cusco and I thought to myself what possibly a job one can have and loves every minute of it. Than I came to the conclusion after 15 years of learning English securing a 9-5 job in London the world one of the most expensive city and with a world wide known organisation is not something that makes me happy. Missing the living the life to its fullest element. You are my inspiration and I understand you have been doing the grind the hard way but it was worth it Chris! I am not sure how much of a chance one can get probably one in a million (of subscribers) to be lucky enough to stay at the LLB HQ. I still want to have my camera training so maybe one day it will happen….but bearing in mind as you once said people cannot just drop everything and be at Bali for the weekend and return to work on Monday morning. So it would be super amazing if the travel could be planned… which I donโt know how will fit with the diary of the two of you? Have save travels and your channel got my subscribe and Bell ๐ button too and I feel lucky that I was lucky enough stumbling into your video that made me subscribe. Oh man…100 bucks for 50 Mbps is daylight robbery and no, that isn’t considered high speed internet. We have up to 500 Mbps fiber optics true high speed internet in Malaysia and that only costs a 100 bucks. 100 Mbps will only set you back 50 bucks. I’m not sure if you’re being conned or if the internet there is just plain shitty. That villa is sick though.

Bali is such an amazing and affordable place we were there last year for our honeymoon and loved every second in all locations although the boat to Komodo Island was a bit sketchy.
