from my experience from being inBali don’t use blue bird, uber or taxi get the app call GO-Jek (not sure if I spelled it right) but you get a ride for a decent/cheap price and they don’t scam you. Most uber driver or taxi try to up the price even when they accept you. You live and you learn. 🙂

The spa treatment tour woman did not appear friendly, kind, warm and inviting at all. I mean maybe it’s me but I have seen how the difference how white people are treated vs black people who are tourist. The white guests are treated waaaaay better here in this country of Vietnam. The year is 2018 almost 2019 and you would think all that racism/prejudice would be different from the younger generation..

I have a theory that Colas, which contain Phosphoric Acid may burn foreign beings that cause Bali Belly & such. So whenever I catch a bubble gut from travel or party food, I get a 2 liter bottle of Coke or Dr Pepper & it works. I’ve advised the same for other people who traveled & suffered & it worked. Now as a precaution, if I have drinks when I travel, my thing is Jack & Coke or Hennessey chased with Coke. Liqour also kills germs, but may not mix well with some foods. Feel Better.🤗

Girl alot of cab drivers outside the country are scammers. Im so sorry that happened to u. Thats super dangerous to be left out in the street like that. Plz be careful whenever u travel. Those guys will make up whatever price to get money out of tourists. Some will go to the extreme and give u fake dollar bills . Always count ur change before u get out the car, always google how much the travel expense should be from point A to point B, and have a currency exchange app on ur phone on deck. Even when ur shopping as well. Some will rip u off to get money out of u.

The cat poo coffee (Kopi luwak or civet coffee) is absolutely unethical. I don’t know if you are against animal abuse. It promotes animal abuse. It would be so amazing for us humans to travel responsibly.
The cats are locked up in cages and don’t have a diverse diet. Due to them only eating the coffee cherries they are undernourished and their fur falls off. They never get out. They eat coffee cherries, poop and repeat until they die — they don’t get out.
The coffee is said to be safe to drink because the germs would be eliminated during the washing and roasting process. But an article by Time magazine mentions the possibility of fungus growth if the dropping were not found within 24 hours.
When you travel, please do your research. When you know better, you do better.
