Both of you are sooooo right about the trash! The 3 years I was in Okinawa, my barracks on Camp Kinser was right next to the China Sea. There & the rest of the island was extremely clean.

Cheers guys for showing the negatives about Bali as most videos only show the positives, so refreshing to see a more realistic side of the island. I think it is important for people to have a more balanced look so they can decide better if this is where they really want to visit.

I really appreciate y’all pointing out all of the trash. You’re spreading awareness to those who might not have thought about how detrimental littering can be. Another good point to make is that the views ARE amazing, that’s why it’s so disappointing to see people disrespect something we are so blessed to have. I visited Long Beach, California about a year ago. For a place that is so famous, it was covered in trash perhaps even worse than Bali. I’m originally from Florida and the beaches there may have minor trash from time to time but we hold beach clean ups about once a month.

who bring the garbage? tourist it self. about trash and stinky toilet, i have the same problem when i go to New York and Paris – trash everywhere, bad and stink subway station, i had bad experience when i used public toilet too. it’s all about different experience. what make bali now look like a trash like what you said it because bali become more popular. too many people going there with different attitude, its good if every single people like you guys. this is tips that i always remind to myself when i go travelling, dont over expecting.

I think the reason she is mad is that she will sell those bottles to a recycled person. A lot of Asian countries people will litter it very common. Littering is normal to them. It very sad but true! So glad that you guys show the beautiful and the ugly of your travel.

As an Indonesian man , I agree with you about piles of garbage that are visible in every corner of the island. It is true that roads are small, narrow and full of potholes. It is annoying seeing people park their scooters on sidewalks which hinder pedestrians from using them. I pray and hope that the local governor will take an initiative to deal with such issues as soon as possible. Thanks for being upfront and honest It is time to make the difference. Longest layover I’ve ever had was 10 hours. I ended up getting a room in the hotel in the airport. I didn’t want to spend the money but I had already spent a full day traveling (back from Mexico) and was so exhausted I needed sleep. they gave me a airlines crew member price though. There’s no way I could sleep on the floor of an airport.

The trash is disgusting, especially the little girl with the glass. But i’ve slept over night at chicao ODR airport. I went for an interview. I arrived at 12pm at night and my hotel was far (1hr 30min) that i didn’t want to catch a cab that late. Lol i pulled an over nighter just to be safe . ps my interview site was litterally 5 mins away from the airport

My stepdad travels back and forth from Boston to Tokyo all the time. It’s not a lot of layovers, since the Air Force books him direct flights, but that is a lot of 16 hour flights!!

I recommend you visit Singapore & Malaysia. Work your way from Singapore up to Kuala Lumpur, with stops along the way in Melaka and other places, and you’ll find all the things you enjoy visiting. Singapore is hyper-law & order & organized, but there’s lots to do & no trash!

When I went to. Bali I had a layover in Japan for 9-hrs and if your layover is longer than eight hours they gave me a hotel room to Nap and shower and eat it was awesome

Thanks for taking us along with you on your vacation I would have to say Thialand and vietnam was my favorite destinations! Bali is very overated and I can see why. When you move to Nevada, You’ll need to come to Oregon one of the cleanest states in the US! Year around snow skiing nice ocean beaches.Very green and beautiful! It’s unfortunate you had a bad Bali experience, but I’m glad Jimbaran bay ended it nicely for you, that area was definitely one of the highlights of my vacation. And for anyone visiting Bali go to Seminyak beach, Jimbaran Bay, & definitely Nusa Dua where there’s white sand, all three were trash free.

Yeah, paying for bathrooms blows, but it’s a pretty common thing worldwide I think. Either to use the toilet, or for toilet paper. Bummer that Bali didn’t give you guys a better experience. :/ I guess that’s just part of the travel experience in some places. Not everywhere can be a paradise. Sucks that the one place you expect to be paradise-like really isn’t.

First. That rocky canyon looked well dodgy. I’m with Kyle on the spicy stuff. I agree with you about the trash, it so brings a place down. As for lay overs, I’ve not had to do one, but I had a 4 hour train journey turn into 9 hours.
