Correction for you, those guys who u called ‘banjar’ was actually ‘pecalang’. Banjar means Desa in Bahasa or Village.
Halal Food Is worthless.

Just a slight correction, the people you called banjar actually called pecalang, they are like traditional security from banjar (Banjar is a local community lead by person called Kelian).
Pecalang usually wear a traditional black & white sarong just like you’ve seen in the video.
1 area such as Kuta could consist of several Banjar. Its like 1 banjar equal to 1 village. Hope its help. Cheers.

Really enjoyed watching this one Waz – it was like watching one of my own videos just walking around pointing the camera at everything and anything.
I like the rawness of your blogs, not tarted up with some fancy effects and soft focus slow motion shenanigans. It feels like we are there with you – following you around. The nightclub scene and generally staying out late at night is far behind us now – even in Bali my wife and could be found tucked up in bed by 9pm most nights ๐ (we’ve been there and done that when we were much younger)

Your input is always appreciated by those of us who like to go a little deeper into the fascinating subject of Chrissy Amphlett and the Divinyls and may even get you a few more subscibers… I’m #1000. *With quickly advancing age and retreating health I don’t stand a snowball’s chance of ever visiting Bali but I do enjoy your channel. Your approach is unique and personable and makes the viewer feel as though he’s just a mate sharing the experience…..a promising formula and I wish you well. Humour is an important component and seems to happen spontaneously when you interact with the locals (seems to be an endearing quality within the Aussie temperament)…And dear lovely Julie from Seattle who seemed intent on renaming you…..Ray!!….even the comments can be great fun and add additional insight. Who else would do a vid in the rain to show it’s only a minor impediment and can easily be an adventure in it’s own way! When you return, the monkey forest looks like fun. It’ll be a hoot to see how an Aussie deals with that level of nonsense……Teehee…I can hardly wait. I like the rawness of your blogs, not tarted up with some fancy effects and soft focus slow motion shenanigans. It feels like we are there with you – following you around. The nightclub scene and generally staying out late at night is far behind us now – even in Bali my wife and could be found tucked up in bed by 9pm most nights ๐ (we’ve been there and done that when we were much younger)

Been to Skygarden before it filled up, and just had a chill time and cigars once. When these clubs fill up, they become super-obnoxious and fights often kick off. Good places to avoid otherwise. If the music is bad they crank it louder for extra-badness.

Just a slight correction, the people you called banjar actually called pecalang, they are like traditional security from banjar (Banjar is a local community lead by person called Kelian).
Pecalang usually wear a traditional black & white sarong just like you’ve seen in the video.
1 area such as Kuta could consist of several Banjar. Its like 1 banjar equal to 1 village. Hope its help. Cheers.
