Thank you for making this video! I am working towards a career in academic archaeology, so I travel a lot for digs where I’m surrounded by large teams of people for weeks at a time. So whenever I go on a dig I make sure to take a week after excavations to travel on my own wherever that may be. It makes such a difference having that time to refresh yourself and reconnect. Oh my god I got so inspired by this video and like every thing you upload and I love the fact that you read a book that you liked and contacted the human being behind it and now you are friends with her so I would really love if we could do that too I would love to make contact with you and maybe in the future we could have the same community and so on (really loving this community thing that you and Louis are doing and wanna be a part of it, wrote to you on Instagram about a job as your assistent and so on but I don’t think it got through so I have to affuté here, i am still in school but after that I want to travel and meet so many friends along the way and meet so many different people to get a bigger perspective of the world) so just the fact that you contact people and get new friends like you only have one life so you gotta take the risks, so I’m also striving after that and trying to get in to the “travel community” (if there even is one but you get it) and taking a shoot that I maybe could be your friend in the future because why not, and I guess even if every like influencer is hidden behind an account and you don’t really think they are real they but they are like humans and persons who have friends and can be your friend. When I started travelling solo, I admit that I was scared, hesitant to be myself and alone. But I knew this is something I have to do to develop myself, so I kept travelling solo. And now, I absolutely love it ❤️.. And I have to say this is my favourite way of travelling so far.

By being by yourself in a place that I have not idea about, surrounding yourself with people I don’t know, can truly make me see things and life in a kinder perspective.
