We found grab to be a bit better than GOJEK and have avoided the rest. with GOJEK when they are in the way if they can tell u r a tourist they txt you saying the price increased by 70% with grab so far we have not experienced that.. even with GOJEK upping the price on us compared to Australia its still very cheap.. TIP FOR NEW TRAVELERS
IF GOJEK asks for more $$ and u don’t want to pay the amount say no BUT the driver will tell u to cancel the trip but DONT Let the driver cancel because when a customer cancels too many trips they get blocked,

I’ve also been travelling this last two days and it rained there too, except I was in a cold and wet Manchester working ha ha!! Had to sympathise with Daneger about shopping – I went with my wife on Christmas Eve for the first time in years! She said I was well behaved….. the internet was made for me; I even buy my car that way!. Really interesting how your tastes have changed as you have got more into this travel lifestyle and what you say makes total sense about needing more from a location that just the chill out factor. I’ve got the same, the older I get.

How much would you recommend for budget? Like we have breakfast in our hotels, but in general how much should i take for foods etc? Or could you do a video where you live with different budgets for 1 day or something? For example one cheap day, one medium cost and one bit more expensive? Not counting hotels, only foods and such 😀

Talking about apps you can download in Bali, you can get the blue bird taxi group app. Important not to go in the “blue biro” aka fake blue bird taxis as they will rip you off. The app is handy if you are staying in a hotel or villa a bit out of the way

just spent 19 weeks in Bali .. seminyak boutique shops are highly over priced .. we can get better quality back.in Australia for cheaper prices.. it’s a location targeting tourist to pay these crazy prices … Ubud is superior looking at purchasing a new villa atm here ..Ubud has alot more to offer.. yes alot of boutique shops to but the price and quality seems much better….

seminyak, seems like a little aussie place, upmarket and pricey, have you been to nusa dua, the complex as they call it, its a massive gated 5 star hotels, magic, clean pricey yes, but feel safe and good shopping, feel safer there than in Australia. Love you work and honest opinion
